വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചയാണ് ഇലക്ഷന്‍ ഡ്യുട്ടിക്കാര്‍ക്കുള്ള ക്ലാസ് . കഷ്ടം . സെന്‍സസിന് ഞായറാഴ്ചയും പോകേണ്ടിവന്നു. ഒരു കോമ്പന്‍സേഷന്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും ലഭിച്ചില്ല. ഞായര്‍ രാത്രി എട്ടുമണി വരെ വര്‍ക്കു ചെയ്ത സൂപ്പര്‍വൈസര്‍മാര്‍ ഉണ്ട് . കഷ്ടം .

Maths Paper is tough for average students. Also take lot of time to understand the Qns. Why did it happened? We should react...
Also nobody react against the less amount for invigilation duty & Valuation......
SSLC Maths exam was completed.For whom this exam question was prepared? Is it for the satisfaction of the person who prepared the Qn.Paper ?
This Qn.paper is a very cruel one for most of the students.who is responsible for this? Also it is ashamed that no one is ready to react about this Qn.method.where is our Maths teachers.Are they satisfied with this?
I think the number of A+ students in Maths is less 1000 in all over Kerala.
It is a large punishment for the Maths Teachers.Also it is very sad that there is no maths teacher in this MATHS BLOG for criticising this Qn.paper.

സാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒത്തിരി കമന്റുകള്‍ വന്നിരുന്നു. അടുത്തദിവസം ആന്‍സര്‍ കീ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കും . അതില്‍ പരമാവധി ഗണിതഅധ്യാപകര്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുമെന്ന് കരുതാം .
നാളെ (24-3-2011) ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ഗണിതപരീക്ഷയുടെ ഉത്തരങ്ങള്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഗണിതാധ്യാപകരുടെ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ ഈ പോസ്റ്റിലേക്ക് ക്രോഡീകരിക്കാം. കാത്തിരിക്കുക. അതില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുക.

Hi Friends,
I should like to comment about 14th question in the SSLC Maths examination. A semi- circle with a diameter was there and two perpendiculars were only given with measurements √18 and √14 on either side of the centre. The students were asked to find out the diameter of the semi-circle. The examiners might have expected the answer 9 in the trial and error method. I think any real number greater than 2√18 can be an answer to this problem. We can draw perpendiculars with these measurements in any circle with radius greater than √18. The question does not imply that there are many solutions. So the students, especially the bright students expect a unique solution, being aware of the precise and logic nature of mathematics. They might have wasted their time to solve this problem as a rider, using general systematic steps. Besides, the ‘trial and error’ method is not generally accepted as a good mathematical way of solving a problem. Otherwise we should have used it to find all the roots of a third degree polynomial !. We find only one root in trial and error method and the others are found using suitable identities. So, in short, I think the question is a foolish one and not valid enough to be considered as a question for a serious public examination. I request mathematics teachers to raise this issue in the scheme finalisation camps. I solicit your opinions being mathematics teachers.

sub: We have submitted the leave surrender(SSLC paper valuation) bill to the deo office ernakulam and they have rejected the bill stating that only 11 days will be allowed for surrender even if we have got 14 days in the duty certificate. Please reply if anybody have any information in this regard. I have heard that many of the teachers from other districts and under other deo have surrendered for 14 days.Please get me any govt order or directions from the government in this issue. thanks. (actually i wish to write in malayalam, but my typing speed in mal. don't let me do so )
