How was the English paper????
കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു . എളുപ്പമുള്ളത് , ശരാശരി , ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുള്ളത് എന്നിങ്ങനെ മൂന്ന് തരം ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ആണല്ലോ സാധാരണ ഉണ്ടാകാറുള്ളത് . പക്ഷെ ഇന്നത്തെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ കുട്ടികളെ കുഴച്ചു. പതിവിനു വിരുദ്ധമായി നോട്ടീസ് ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. പകരം ഡിബേറ്റ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് . അത് മിക്ക ചോദ്യ ബാങ്കുകളിലും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. എക്സ്റ്റെന്റെഡ് റീഡിംഗ് ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് സാധാരണ ചോദ്യം പതിവില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും അതും ഉണ്ടായി. ചോദ്യം 20-ന്റെ ഹിന്റ്സ് തെറ്റായിരുന്നു. ഇത്രയുമൊക്കെ ഓര്‍മ്മയില്‍ നിന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതാണ്.
മോഡല്‍ എക്സാം തീര്‍ത്തും എളുപ്പമായിരുന്നപ്പോഴെ ഇത് പലരും ഊഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ കുട്ടികള്‍ വിഷമിച്ചിരിക്കാനാണ് സാധ്യത. കൂടുതല്‍ പ്രതികരണങ്ങളിലൂടെ ബാക്കി അറിയാമെന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം അല്ലേ ?

ഇന്ന് നടന്ന ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പരീക്ഷ കുറച്ച് ബുധിമുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി എന്ന് പറയാം . മൊത്തത്തില്‍ എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളും ഒന്ന് ടച്ച് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട് . പതിവായുള്ള Prose& Poems comprehension questions (1-18 Questions) , പിന്നെ Profile , 26-30 questions എന്നിവ താഴ്ന്ന നിലവാരക്കാര്‍ക്കും,ശരാശരിക്കാര്ക്കും ആശ്വാസമായിരുന്നു . Write-up , Review എന്നിവയും പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചവ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. ഇരുപതാമത്തെ ചോദ്യമായ Letter എല്ലാവരും എഴുതിക്കാണും . അത് ആദ്യം മുതലേ പഠിച്ചതായിരിക്കും . പക്ഷെ അതിലെ hint അടുത്ത ചോദ്യത്തിനുള്ളതായിരുന്നു . അത് ഒരു പിഴവായി . നോട്ടീസ് ഇല്ലാത്തത് എല്ലാവരെയും നിരാശപ്പെടുത്തി . Speech, Report എന്നിവ ഉയര്‍ന്ന നിലവാരെക്കാരെ ഉദ്ദെശിചായിരുന്നിരിക്കണം . Conversation ശരാശരിക്കാര്ക്കും ആശ്വാസകരമായി . Editing നല്ല നിലവാരം പുലര്‍ത്തി . Reported speech , Conversation മുഴുമിപ്പിക്കല്‍ ഇവ കുറച്ച് കുഴപ്പിച്ചു . Phrasal verbs ,word pyramid എന്നിവയും വളരെ ലളിതമായിരുന്നു . മൊത്തത്തില്‍ രണ്ടാം ഭാഷയായ ഇംഗ്ലീഷും വലിയ പരാതികളില്ലാതെ കടന്നു പോയി. എല്ലാ വിദ്യാര്‍ധികള്‍ക്കും വിജയാശംസകള്‍ ......
